as a general guide or rule, should one not have serious personal conversations with a woman until you're in a relationship? I'm all about getting to know someone slowly and I respect people's privacy. does having serious conversations or being there for a woman put you in the "friend zone"?. I've heard that when dealing with a woman that's a little emotionally and mentally unstable, "don't become their pshrink". is it best to limmit serious conversations during the attraction phase??

You need to be more specific as to what your definition of a serious conversation is

Men are only friendzoned when they're timid and fearful about escalation. And men they believe the girl in front of them has more value than they do.

You can talk about whatever the hell you want to. But if ALL you're doing is talking, how is she suppose to separate you from one of her friends who just talks as well. Just because you're a guy you want her to assume you're not a friend when in no way are you showing her through action and not words that you're more?

Also, you don't wanna be the "overly deep" guy all the time either. That shit gets boring. Girls do wanna have fun. If you can cover all the emotions, you can take as much time as you like.
