Post subject:  First night out... not so good.
Well, I am brand new to this and after about a week of reading, practicing, and rehearsing I decided to put all of my knowledge into action. I went out to the clubs with some friends. My results were nothing short of complete failure.

1st encounter, blackjack table. 1 ugly girl, 1 HB7 girl.

Negged HB, Helped Ugly girl with blackjack. Ugly girl was really into me. HB7 and ugly girl met up with me across street.. when I isolated HB she said she wanted me but her friend would be crushed.

2nd Encounter - Crash and Burn - Approached 2 HB8s sitting alone with too common of an opener "Let me ask your opinion about cheating" etc.. they said they had seen that pickup line on VH1 and were very offended.. couldn't recover from that

3rd Encounter - Group of hb6 and hb7s - Started with opener, this place is kind of dying down... didn't really get a response so I got nervous and said "you girls want to hit up the club across the street" well it was a crash and burn from there.

I know I probably have a lot of work to do.. but if you guys could give me any pointers on how I could have handled this better that would be great.

LMAO oh man thanks for the heads up. I use the Is Kissing Cheating Opener a lot but I've never been called out on it. I guess it's getting to be more well-known, huh?

Anyway, I would have just been like "Haha you girls are CRAZY! The fact that I would actually put forth an effort to meet and get to know you two is OFFENSIVE to you? Well, anyways, check this out... I have this friend with a jealous girlfriend... would you date anyone who..." haha

Yeah man it was pretty crazy and somewhat embarassing, I strolled up with as much fake confidence as I could muster and was like "Hey girls, let me ask your opinion on something.. if someone's girlfriend goes out to the club and makesout with other guys.. is that considered cheating?" Well that is about as far as I got.. one of the girls (the hotter of the two) actually looked excited when I asked the question and perked right up.. the other girl (the alpha female of the group) got a disgusted look on her face and then whispered in the girls ear... then she turns to me and said.. I saw this on VH1, they were talking about pick up artists and how they use the morals of cheating as pick up lines. Then I was like "so.. you should be flattered" then she gave me the shoo shoo hand notion.. lol I wanted hit her for that one.

lol I forgot to mention this.. but the ugly girl and the hb7.. well after the HB told me that her friend would be crushed.. the ugly girl was literally stalking me from club to club.. I had no idea what to do because I didn't want to be mean, but she was also CRUSHING a lot of potential game that I could have done...I mean she was still following me around up until 2 am at the end of the night even after several attempts to completely ditch her.. then she asked me if I wanted to ride in her taxi cab... she couldn't take a hint... you guys got any advice about this, when the wrong girl falls for you instead of the target?

There's your problem right there.
It's quite unfortunate how Mystery Method is the most popular mainstream method of pickup nowadays. You got everyone running around trying to fake it til they supposedly make it. sigh.

Oh, and you are supposed to SOI for the target to the obstacle once you've won her over.

Yeah, I am still working on the confidence thing.. I have been hitting the gym 4 - 5 times a week, and I'm trying to completely revamp my style in clothing. I am not just another one of those guys.. I am really ready to put my heart into this because I am really tired of being walked on.. I figure with a combination of getting in shape, looking better and dressing better, combined with a few successful PUs my confidence will skyrocket.. at least that is what I am aiming for..

As for the books being released and what have you.. I wish they wouldn't have and I would have discovered this world some other way.. but like I said.. I don't want to 'fake' it... I want to be the real thing.. but I just started so try not to criticize too much. I'm new here. :)

It's funny though that you mentioned the SOI.. because after all the reading and rehearsing.. I COMPLETELY left that step out of the equation.. and went straight to isolation. wish I wouldn't have. Guess it backfired on me. I am still a complete noob... but I am trying to use as much PUA terminology as possible. Anyway chief, thanks for the responses.
