This is probably a stupid question but oh well. Has any one ever "peacocked" with contacts before? I was thinking of buying halloween contacts just or some thing, just to have as a conversation piece. Opinions? |

I haven't, but this is actually a pretty interesting question. The only problem is that I can't imagine any of those weird type of contacts coming across as attractive, whatsoever. Peacocking allows you to stand out, but you can still seem normal. Strange contacts usually just makes you look like a freak. See: Marilyn Manson |

True that. I have been looking at a lot of different styles and the whole idea was to be a conversation piece. But if it freaks someone then its not much of a conversation. |

But, you never know bro. There's no harm done if you try it out on a few sets. It might actually turn out to be a pretty effective peacocking tool. |

I've thought about it a bunch of times, but I wear perscription contacts when I go out, so I would have to wear glasses to see and I only wear glasses when I'm lazing about. I'd definitely give it a try, although you might want to build up you skill level a bit, to the point where you can wear some crazy cat's eyes ones, or all black eyes, without being thought of as a freak. I swear I remember talking to someone that said they did it and got some good responses, but they weren't a PUA, just a semi-natural. |

Ok. Yeah it just occured to me one day that contacts would be an awesome convo piece but I don't feel I am at that level where I effectively explain them where I could easily rationalize some that radical. But maybe some day... |

Exactly, you aren't at that level yet (you will be though), because if you were, you would know that you wouldn't want to rationalize them, you make it interesting, exciting and mysterious.

I know if a guy approached me with cat contacts/other weird contacts I am not sure if I would be able to maintain eye contact |

I think that would be a great effect if good attraction and comfort otherwise were built. It would definitely make you think that he's different than other guys and intrigue you as to why/how he is able to make you feel like that, when you can't even look in his eyes. Fits the bill of submission, I'd say.
