Well for once something that sounds like I can help.
I can definately relate to what you're saying bro. I've felt the exact same way since I was a child. I'll slam words together that don't go together, say other words that should be at the end of the sentence before I get the beginning out and stuff like that. Basically the main ways I stop it are visualizing my sentence while I talk, try to slow down my speech( you can practice having a deeper voice, this usualy slows you down and seems to be effective), and basically if you get excited try to recognize it and do some listening instead of talking. If you do screw up and jumble some words, just play it off like you're tired and it's been a long day. (like you're a busy guy and you never stop all day). I usually say something like "wow, my ass needs to go back to bed, its' been a long day, wanna come?" lol. Not exactly but you get the point. Good luck man.
