Post subject:  Getting Girls Who Knew You Before You understood the game.
Alight so I just started reading "The Game" by Strauss and it made me realize all the mistakes ive made over the years compared to the guys that got tons of tail. My questions is when you understand the game and all that, does it work with girls who knew you before that you use to let walk all over you?

I wish I knew lol... but I got into the game when I was about 14 and I don't talk to ANYONE I knew from back then since I've moved around so much!

I'm curious to see what anyone else has to say about this, though.

it depends, I was after this chick for a month and i started learning the game because of her, i got the number the first time out with her after i got some technique, pretty sure that answers the question at hand.

I'm interested in this as well. When I read The Game there were several times when I felt like slapping my self on the forehead and shouting "Ah-ha!". Every time I've ever fucked it up with a girl well, there was a PUA tactic that would have prevented it, and everything I ever accidentally got right, well there are entire strategies designed to make that happen.

I can think of at least two girls (both 8+) that I blew it with in the past year that I would love another shot at, if only to prove that I can get it right.

I'm guessing it is harder but not impossible to go back in for a 2nd attempt? Re-asserting yourself as being desirable after having crashed and burned must be the challange.

Yeah, you can. People will feel really weird around you for about.. an hour.

And then the attraction/comfort will pour in. ;)

it generally depends on how acquainted you are with the person.

"first impressions lasts"

people normally imprints a person with his/her character because it helps us identify them from other individuals (along with physical features). that is why we sometimes can say "john the shy guy" or "jane the timid girl".the longer you know a person the stronger the "character imprint" is,and the harder it will be to change it.

that is why the game emphasizes the imporatnce of first impressions. because when you have a clean slate you can take any frame you want and poeple would take that as who you really are.

so, to answer your question;

Yes, you can still game the HB but it would take time and work from you to change the "character imprint" that she already has on you.

i somewhat disagree with the above. Yes, Its important to make a good first impressions. However I know that I have become friends with people who I absolutely couldn't stand in the beginning. You can change how people see and treat you.

Sooo... to answer the OP's question...Yes, it can work. Well, unless it was last week. If its been awhile since you have seen some of these girl then sure try again. If its girls you see on a regular basis then it needs to be a gradual shift. People do recognize that people do change.

I'm dealing with the same thing. I guess I was lucky with the timing though, cuz when I read the game I was overseas. I didn't try and game any of my friends when I got back, I'd just had a major attitude change and was incorporating C&F. It seemed it was easier for them to accept I'd changed overseas rather than just randomly over a weekend or something. What I'm wondering, along these lines, is how to successfully game these people with the intent of closing. I've got some hot friends (HB9s) who became friends with me because they used to be into me but I was to AFC to realise.

Im quite new at this "game".... and I'm also in the same situation.

I was thinking since you can't obviously "open" with her; I was thinking to move in with subtle attraction /dhv/light negs. (Can't just apply regular "attraction" because she may thinkyou now acting different/weird.) Do the cat n' mouse/ pull and tug for a bit with some playful kino and look for IOI's. Then move on from there.

Sounds kinda basic but is my theory sound?

The answer to your question is a difficult one.
If you go by the theory that a woman feels that unconscious attraction to you within the first couple of seconds of getting to know you then it will be hard to change her opinion of you. However, in my experience i've been finding that with a bit of time apart, if you walk up and start busting her balls, DHV, and just have that air of a different person who GETS it, you will have a chance.
