Thanks Hobbit! Here are some of my fav lines that I have found If she gets pissed off - ” oh poor baby is throwing a tantrum ” Her: Next time we go out (yadda yadda) Me: [totally serious face] Who says I want to go out with you again? [awkward pause] … I’m just kidding …. but you should have seen the look on your face. she gives you any canned insult: you’re gay, stupid, lame, etc me: good one, in what grade did you learn that one her: shutup! me: that one was first grade right? her: starts anything else me: -interrupt- (start using any first grader talk) fart-face, smelly-butt, etc. but in a very serious way Me: Can I buy you a drink…or do you just want the money? Her: gives you some sort of compliment Me: I’m not that easy, you’re going to need a better line than that You: Check her up and down, wow you look pretty. Its amazing what 10 dollars can buy you these days |

"you are cute for a short girl" from David D |

I'm sorry, but aside from that last one that David D said, those are insulting unless some rapport has already been built and you deliver them properly. I wouldn't use them on the girl I'm seeing and I'm CONSTANTLY cocky/funny to her, as she is to me. She'll call me "princess" and make comments about how I'm whining if I say I'm at all tired and I can say stuff back to her similar, but I would never say, "oh poor baby is throwing a tantrum," as she would get PISSED. Tone it down some. More funny, less cocky. |

She obv didnt see the humor. Is there a way to recover from Cockyness without saying sorry? |

Dunno, but maybe a decent line to reply to that would be something like.. then quit, we'll move to mexico together. i'll work on the farm and you'll take care of the children... |

Generally the best course of action is to pretend nothing was said and you just break frame and move to a different topic. If it is another day, then you make sure you come in with a positive vibe and if she shows any negativity at all, you don't start off c/f at all, you be nice and fun, then when she's in a better mood, you can resume being c/f.
