I'd post in the Newbie Mission thread, but it specifically states not to. This is pretty much what the title says. I'm not your typical "mall-goer", as a 32 yo guy with a job, and who's hobbies include D&D and (when money allows) auto racing. The Game Store is obviously a terrible place to go, as there's rarely more than 2-3 girls there, they're usually a 5 or less, and they get hit on constantly. The racetrack is an obvious choice, but I can't afford to race every single day. So I'm looking for ideas for other places to go. Thoughts? |

Your statement sounds like this: "I'm not your typical 'gym-goer'. I'm a 32yo who has a job and a habit of visiting KFC on a regular basis. I want to lose weight but won't change my eating habits. Suggestions?" The entire point of it to expand your comfort zone. That means doing things that aren't the typical you. If the typical would suffice in regard to your love life, you probably wouldn't be here. The mall is a perfect venue because it packs a lot of people in a relatively small place. |

You misunderstand. I'm not saying I won't ever go to a mall. I'm saying I'd like to not only go to a mall. I'm looking for ideas to mix it up a little. The mall is a perfect venue because it packs a lot of people in a relatively small place. And for the record, I regularly go to the gym and am in very good shape. |

Public transport hubs. Canteens and restaurants near universites (eat your breakfast, lunch or dinner in these places). Parks. |

Excellent. Thank you! Thinking on that same line, there's a free art museum and a zoo near me too. I'll have to take a look into those. |

I play magic the gathering and have laid two new girls in the last six weeks. Just go to your nearest downtown urban area and walk around. Street pickup is real. |

It was a metaphor, but good for you that you keep in shape. Either way the newbie missions don't stretch over extended periods of time. You can literally do them in one weekend. However if you're wondering about approaching women outside the mall, literally anywhere or everywhere women are, works. |

I'm glad to hear this. Quote: Quote:

Quote: I suppose I misunderstood the mission. I thought it was to complete it as many times as needed to get comfortable with that "stage" before moving on to the next one. |

You're supposed to do it once, just so that you can see nobody will tear your throat for saying hello to them. After that you're still supposed to approach, as often as you may, and this time with purpose.
In any case, thanks for the thoughts! |

Just talk to people man- have a 3 minute convo with someone for no reason other than to get to know them and you will destroy the average joe. Girls are talkers, just how they are. Learn to talk and learn to listen. As for venue, bars, meetup groups, workplace, etc etc |
