I'm currently 19 years old and have just came out of a 5 month relationship. It affected my grades soo bad but now I'm just addicted to pickup I want to approach every girl that I'm interested in. However, I paid a huge price because I wasn't developing myself as a person and somewhat became depressed. Has pickup ever affected your career or education and would you recommend to complete your education before anyone start pickup or succeed in your career before starting pickup.. Please share your thoughts and experiences. |

It really is your choice at the end of the day. We all have priorities and we choose what to do. It's a lot easier to choose pickup over anything else just because it's your nature to think of women and sex |

I mean unless you're gonna dedicate your life to pickup and be a pickup coach yadda yadda, then you should practice some self-awareness where you set time aside for pickup and other things. Currently, I took a break from pickup to focus on my career and my health. Why ? Because I am already a competent player so there's no need to be balls deep in three chicks every week. Now it's only two. |

Anything fundamentally positive can have a negative impact on your life if you're stupid about it. Nobody said you need to ignore your other responsibilities and focus solely on this. That said it has affected my career and my education prior to that. But it has done so in a good way. |

Likewise, I was lost one could say prior to PUA. However, it didn't took me long to realize that there is much more to PUA than just fuckign girls. I have to admit thou that guys from this forum that dedicate their time helped me directly and indirectly. Indirectly by making me search for answers on other places and overall in trying to be a better man. Life is more than just tactics and if you stick here long enough, you'll find it out too. |

Dude I'm only like 19 and 5 months is the longest serious relationship I've had and this was the first serious one. Usually I end it within 2 weeks.

We've all been stupidly and ridiculously fucked up by out first 'serious' relationships. I know I was. You'll get over it OP. Just be smart about it. |
