I wanted to share this from earlier, it might help some people or you might find it interesting. If you don't...sorry! I can't really remember a situation where an unknown/random girl has initiated a conversation with me or approached me in a public place during the day by herself apart from day to day genuine conversations i.e directions etc. I was sitting at the top of a hiking trail/park in LA, when she was lingering for a while, I looked at her and she sat down next to me and say "Hey, can I ask your advice?' and gave me her phone. She basically wanted me to tell her what picture she took with the scenery I thought was best. For me, this was clearly a way to open as we would, I mean it's not that important and I'm sure if it was she had other friends to ask when she saw them. Now, I was in my own world on my phone, I had a flight to catch a couple of hours later (I'm not returning to LA from Europe until May for three months (better for seeing chicks), this time round I'm here 4 days) and I kind of just gave her my opinion and said 'I think this one, definitely this one' and said 'thanks' and kind of hanged around a couple of seconds and then we said our goodbyes. There was an opportunity there for a couple of seconds to introduce myself properly and then game her and I probably would have if she initiated it but I wasn't that into her to be honest and the fact I was leaving the country meant I wasn't in the zone. As she was walking away she kind of turned her head back which made me more interested in her...i'm sure I've seen that advice here! Anyway that's about it. For me, one thing to take from it for my own personal development is to be tuned in more and tuned in quicker to situations and signals. I'm not too fussed this time but there have been occasions in the past where there have been opportunities there which occur randomly in day to day life which catch me completely off guard, this one was pretty obvious but I have a habit of not recognizing opportunities and taking opportunities as they come i.e this situation in my head I basically gave her an answer to her question and didn't read any more into it and then kind of unravel the situation and think damn I would have done this and this differently! |
