Does anyone actually use PUA tactics?

Like canned openers, cold readings, etc.?

Or is it more just about being social, extroverted, open, and positive?

Yes, I think a lot of people use that kind of stuff, the most of the time I adapt the idea to my own way, to feel more confident and natural, but there is great techniques in its original form. Be successful and Luck

What are some examples of great techniques in their original form?

Do you get laid a lot?

It's a combination of the 2 things to your style, but the second thing can lead you to success by itself, while the other would not get you anywhere if you use it alone

I like the best friend test of style, I only change the questions. Some good phrases from another puas, don't focus on the techniques, only in the idea and I'm not yet a great pua, so I dont get laid like I wished

Enough. I usually get stuck in interview mode unless I'm very drunk, which I'm trying to stop drinking.

I think compliment openers might suit my style.

I should give myself a mission to give 50 compliments.

Look man, I dont know if you're trolling or just not thinking. If you have a problem, be specific. A thread on whether people use tactics can not help you. If you have a sticking point, be specific in a thread and state what is, once youve experienced it a good number of times.

Learn to be SPECIFIC and quit the nonsense questions. Thats to help you to stop wasting your time.

check the approach section there are a lot of good advise and a great guide by black phanter, it should help you and give you an idea how to approach and build confidence.

None of it's helping. Here's a problem:

I always go out alone and it might be rude or impossible to interrupt groups of people's conversations.

you"re making it way more complicated then it needs to be,go out,be social,talk to everyone and that's it,its not quantum physics
