Background: was in school 3 years ago - no game - just instincts... - heavy non-verbal flirting with HB8 / making out during school (no real talking or hanging out) - school ends - we part ways awkwardly (on/off bf cockblocks) fast forward 3 years - saw HB8 on a business trip 1 hour from my city - looked her up on social media (never connected online) - we happen to be in the same industry for work - gonna message her. How would you open? |

I'd have tried to make something happen face to face. Doing it online is what everybody else is doing. If you're going to be like every other guy, then you'd best make sure you're better at it than every single one of them. Or you can zig when they zag, and have hardly any competition because you're not a bitch that has to Facebook stalk because you're too scared to talk in person. Be better than the online route. |

In sales (many parallels between game) we call this a warm lead, and when you reconnect with someone, you just ask them how XYZ is going/doing. Even if you left on bad terms with a client, checking up on them reopens the dialogue.Or you can zig when they zag, and have hardly any competition because you're not a bitch that has to Facebook stalk because you're too scared to talk in person. Be better than the online route. We're already acquainted, I'm just drawing blanks on the open that doesn't sound retarded. Especially with the body language missing. Only obvious route that comes to mind is the common ground in the industry, and ignoring the last few days we saw each other like it never happened. |

Normally I would say no to the FB thing...it's just so fucking weak and embarrassing. But this guy already had make out sessions with this woman, so full steam ahead IMHO. |

I would say congrats, but why the fuck do guys think grabbing coffee is is a good idea lol? It's better than not dating her, but a coffee date hardly ever leads to anything other than coffee, man. |
