I've had this a lot recently when approaching girls in the day.....more often than not they seem flattered, say I'm very brave, and actually apologise for having a bf....ok they may not want to hurt my feelings but is it worth saying something like "Well thats ok....maybe I could give you my number and you could get in touch if things don't work out with your boyfriend"?? |

Nah, unless you get a number they are for the most part just going to forget about you. You can try to say something funny like. "Oh, you didn't know you could have more than one?" |

It doesn't matter whether she actually has a boyfriend or not, take it at face value and keep working on your banter. It's a muscle, it will improve. |

Most of these women are actually very aplogetic when saying to me that they have a boyfriend.....I'm sure I could of have had a chance with a lot of these women recently that I'm asking out, that's the vibe I am getting. A bit of charm/persuasion and who knows? Thing is, what have I got to loose but suggesting they take my number? They could just been weeks/early days in their current relationship maybe?

Being apologetic is not a sign of attraction. Women are emotional and tend to avoid confrontation, so they will usually try to let you down easy. You've built no rapport with those women, so they won't call you. The fact that you're willing to wait in line for them (just "in case" things don't work out) shows to them that you have no options. Women want to be with a man who is in demand. A guy who gets an abundance of pussy doesn't give out his number in hopes that she'll remember him. |

I was told by a legend..Sometimes they get nervous and fire off a statement like that on impulse..If you're especially sexy you can make them nervous..So, the answer is to be oblvious to it, Continue on as if she didnt just say that..Alternatively you can say "So you have that problem?" And then continue on. |

No. Just no.OP, if she says she has a boyfriend she's not interested in you. Doesn't matter if it's true or not. If she were, you'd be hearing about him immediately after or immediately before having sex. |

Tell me, if you were interested in a girl, and she'd ask your number, you'd say, I have a girlfriend? So no. If she says that, forget about her and move on. Guys, please stop reading into these statements. I have a boyfriend = I'm not interested in you. Period. |

This is true, but it's like a step up from the friends zone which might as well be a step up the ladder from hell. Women don't realize that this maneuver creates a catch 22 where if the guy pushes forward too much he's kind of a scum bag and if he doesn't then he's just another friend. The trick is to ride the line and keep the sexual tension in place until her boyfriend disappears. There are also plenty of boyfriend busting routines out there. |

Yes, of course women will fire off cliche statements like this when they are suddenly overwhelmed and emotionally unable to properly handle a certain social situation. Even so, when they say they have a bf, they don't have time, they are on the way home, blah blah just blow passed their bs. If you are confident and know how to talk to women to calm them down, they will sometimes give you a chance. I have literally told a woman "bullshit" and "put your number in my phone" when they said they we're busy and she listened to me. We ended up going from "I'm busy" to banging in a hotel a week later. |

Women will also do this ethically as well. For instance I fell for this sales woman / instructor hard before talking about the sale. Right before her pitch it was, Her: "Oh yeah, I have a boyfriend." Me: "I was wondering when you were going to say that." *More chatting about her boyfriend, He does martial arts!* Me: "I don't study martial arts anymore." Her: "Why not?" Me: "Because I think I know enough and I know I am not going to get into a fight." *training to join the Marines (never joined) I came to the conclusion that they didn't fight, they ambushed, skirmished, held position or tactically retreated all of which people confuse with fighting. UFC fighters fight, two evenly matched opponents go at it their skill separating them on the mat. Plus, I've decided to be a peaceful guy from now on. So it was technically true when I said I don't fight My point is I was straight up with her and set myself apart from her boyfriend. She has never once mentioned him again. He either doesn't exist, unlikely, or it's just not relevant. Women actually have to go out of their way to insert the "I have a boyfriend" move and have a good reason. |

When a woman says shit like: I have a boyfriend, my mind filters this out as something meaningless like:kdbbffin394775mfnfigkssh996860321 because it is all just static bullshit. Hit on them until they assertively turn you down. If they have an obvious nervousness in their voice, then they might just be shy. In cases like these I just keep on hitting on them. |
