Go to bar, sit, two girls walk in and sit next to you. One girl is physically everything you want. Have to piss like a racehorse so order drink to keep spot, but don't open because you have to fucking piss. Sit next to girls for a while, feeling sorry for yourself for not opening within three second rule Less attractive girl asks about beer menu, help her out but she doesn't engage Half a beer later she does talk to you and engages Spend the next hour talking to both Physically everything girl also matches on other personality things Eventually decide it's time to go "I've got to get going, but I enjoyed talking to you... maybe I could give you a call sometime?" while holding eye contact with the target. Yeah, weak line... but aside from the words I lost confidence delivering the last half. Girl looks unsure, but says she'll give me number. Text her joke about something we'd discussed earlier Wish them a good night and walk out. Should I have waited to confirm she got text? If I get no reply I assume that's disinterest? Been half an hour now... Maybe text her Saturday anyway because nothing to lose? Next time, follow three second rule then excuse myself to use the bathroom immediately? |

OK, she just texted back so I was probably just being too insecure. Overinvestment is a bitch! |

There ya go.
Hey, you got the number. Protip: always repeat the number back to her and purposely mix up 2 digits. If she corrects you, you’re golden. If not, chances are you just got a fake. |

Once a hot chick at the bar who gave me a radio station's phone number I won Harlem Globetrotter tickets and a Bud Light poncho. Win/win. |
