Who – A 22yo Greek girl attending my same University and Faculty. Charismatic, strong willed, goal-oriented and highly competitive; she’s undoubtedly the leader of the Greek girls attending the courses. Not only: business-oriented and creative at the same time, she has a BA in Marketing, plays piano and classical guitar, shows deep culture in various subjects. Her favorite country, besides Greece, is Italy (yay!
) Despite the strong personality, still has few unresolved issues with her past, during the rapport building routines I sensed an inner fragility that I cannot yet define.Opener – Met her and her friend at a nearby supermarket, they were trying to buy some chicken with the only use of hand gestures, being the supermarket staff complete unable to understand English. I helped using the few words of Polish that I know, the I opened: I’m kinda in a hurry here, I have to start preparing the lunch for my friends, I’m the only one capable of cooking something good. But, anyway, have I seen you at the Welcome Party last week? There were all the 650 international students, so the chances were high enough. After a few comments about their look and their names (both have names of Greek goddesses), I revealed my nationality: they were so pleased that we exchanged immediately our numbers, and I invite them to my dorm the next day, in order to taste the bet and purest Italian coffee.
Break Into Her World – She texted me the same day, opening with an hey handsome that lifted up my day. We had a brief conversation about the courses, and we teamed up for one of the projects. We also noticed that we had no plans for the night, so we decided to meet in a local pub. Probably to feel safer, she texted me that also her SPAM will accompany her: a good occasion for some HVD, so I came to the meeting with two other Italians and my Spanish roommate. Despite a hell of a lot of fluffing at the pub, three point where addressed:
- - Her SPAM, poor guy, was insta-friendzoned by her a few days before, and now he’s nothing more than a castrated puppy.
- She stated her values, and quite surprisingly – purposely or subconsciously – she made a lot of HVD for her, and a few IOI towards me.
- Thanks to the NVC provided by KB - thank you! - (body-language-voice-tonality-and-dress/topic10162.html), and by the fact that none of my group and my same language ability, the understood who was the leader of the small group.
HVD – She came with her friend (the other Greek girl from the supermarket), and the coffee meeting was all a big HVD. From an innocent occasion to meet, like making a coffee, I rounded up half of the floor, and I made sure to get as much attention as possible on me during the event, even from her friend. The Hen Mother was also a good storyteller and was hard to fight with her, but in the end I won her admiration - you are really good at talking, we’re going to be the best team in the Marketing project, she said. It was Ladies Thursday here, so we decided to go out clubbing.
Build Rapport – That night, after an hour or so in a crowded small club, we went to a nearby pub to have a few drinks (which she offered). After half an hour of group fluff, I isolated her in a nearby booth, and the routines began to fall: Meditation, Cube, Hand Reading (thanks to Eddie Fews for the tip!) and finally the Warmth Builder. She was amazed by the results, and became comfortable with physical contact. While chatting, I noticed a two things:
- - Her amazing personality and tastes, something in my opinion even more important than her looks (even if that night she was stunning), definitely someone worth seducing, a tale to tell
- An inner fragility, so well hidden to be almost impossible to see. She avoided certain topics regarding issues and delusions in her past, thoughts that briefly altered her body language and voice pitch, but than she builded up her defenses again, with such grace and ability.
- She feels uncomfortable in crowded places, and she scares easily hearing sudden noises.
A fight begun in the pub, and she suggested to go back to the club, also because our friend were waiting for us there. A few drinks, a little bit of dance, and with enough IOI from her, I decided to spice the things a bit. We were dancing close, our bodies touching, I could smell her perfume, mixed with excitation and sweat. I decided that the moment was right, and I tried to kiss her. Just after a brief touch of our lips, she moves her head away – I’m not that kind of girl – again the change in her voice pitch. Tried with turn offs to overcome this rejection, but at the end I couldn’t close.
A few minutes later, outside the club, I said goodbye to the girls. Strange thing: because I had to go back to the dorm by walk, she asked me to write to her as soon as I arrived home. Despite all, maybe she cares about me.
Now – Three days have passed, and she’s now in a quick trip to Sweden with the other Greek girls, and she will be back tomorrow. I do not have much time, and I feel that our next meeting will be my last occasion to close her.
