Well, I've posted in other threads that I'm between jobs, but even when I was employed, I hit my parents up for money all of the time. I've asked them for help paying student loans, help paying for car repairs, help paying for medical bills, help paying for education, etc. The fact of the matter is that I could probably pay for these things myself, without going into debt, but I ask them for help so that I can save some money in the bank for the future, and so I can afford to have better stuff -- like better clothes and shoes, driving a better car, live in a better apartment. So it's like I could survive without their help but I still ask for it. They give me shit about it. My mother grew up after the Great Depression so she is extremely tight about money. I point out to them that they have plenty saved to help me. They're doing well and they take vacations all of the time. Both of them worked when I was a kid and were never around. Not because they had to, because they wanted to. I was raised in daycare pretty much from birth until age 11 or so. Anyways, I use that as an excuse to ask for their help later in life. Should it be a bigger goal to live independently, or to live well? Is there any shame in getting help from your parents? |

Why do you feel entitled to their money? |

I wouldn't say I feel entitled. I would say it's hard to resist money that I know I can ask for.I buy into the stereotype and commercial myth that having better stuff will get me the girl, so I am a greedy consumer. Confidence and self-assuredness can't be bought, though. |

If you were saving up to buy a house or something and were asking for some help while you saved up I'd probably see your side of things. The idea that you are asking your parents to help with bills so you can blow the money you do have on stuff to impress women is pretty much despicable. |

Most women would be turned off to find that out about you. All flash, no cash. Seriously? Pay off your debts, then think about nice clothes. |

Idk. I grew up middle-class or upper middle-class, but it was in a neighborhood where there were a good number of obscenely wealthy families, where some guys got everything handed to them. Later on, a lot of the guys I went to school with ended up becoming alcoholics and/or heroin junkies and/or inheriting and running their dad's companies. All flash, no cash. Seriously? Pay off your debts, then think about nice clothes. It didn't seem to stop them from banging gold-digging women and marrying gold-digging wives. And these wives were perfect 10's (after the designer clothes and makeup, anyways). But these guys had never-ending self-confidence, despite how stupid and shallow they were. In other words, they weren't ashamed of their privilege. But, I guess what I've seen here is an extreme example. These same guys might be a huge turn off to most women, and I've just never witnessed that. I remember hearing in high school how one of the creepier ones had to pay a girl to lose his virginity. At the same time, there were guys who transferred in and drove shitty cars and didn't wear expensive clothes, and banged all the rich girls, just because they were confident. |

If a man appears to be doing well, women don't ask questions. OP stated that he can pay for these things on his own, but wants nice stuff too. How is a woman that sees a man living well and obviously can pay his way displaying that he has no cash? You only know that his parents are helping him if he says that they are.

I think more people than you think receive money off their parent's

I would say it's hard to resist money that I know I can ask for.I buy into the stereotype and commercial myth that having better stuff will get me the girl, so I am a greedy consumer. Confidence and self-assuredness can't be bought, though. This is me being harsh.... so maybe brace yourself. A nice apartment? I was homeless, you fuck. Figure out how you're gonna put a roof over your head on your own instead of having mommy and daddy rent you a luxury apartment, you bitch. Nice clothes? Fuck off. I buy multipacks of Hanes for tshirts and jeans from the thrift store. Put your own clothes on your back and your own food on the table. Hunt for yourself. Stop being a little boy and relying on mommy. I don't have a lot of material possessions. I used to. Then I realized that I didn't want people who liked me for my "stuff." (As strange as it might sound to some of you weirdos on here, it makes you feel at an all time low when a girl blows you because you drive a nice car.) Everything I have right now.... self made. Got it from the ground up. Nobody helped me. No hand outs. And people like me because of that. Not because of what I have. But because of who I am. I've got a buddy from high school like you. Total mommas boy. Says he's living at home to save money for whatever the fuck you think you pussy little mommas boys are "saving for" but yet all of his clothes have some stupid designer logo on them. That's not saving money. That's refusing to be an adult so you can continue to be a child. Women also find him repulsive and he's very insecure unless he's got his "stuff" to show off. He's annoying. He's like a little kid, constantly seeking approval and validation from other people. Being a man isn't about having "stuff" or having "nice stuff." Nor will having "stuff" make you any sexier to girls out there.... if anything, it just reinforces that you're a mommas boy. Grow the fuck up and handle your own shit. If you wanna be a "bad boy" then stop riding out the cushy mommas boy life. |

Heard.Hey Majik, can you post pics of girls you've pulled with the face blurred or something? I'm just curious. Same goes for anyone else who is so inclined. Pics... Can you show me what quality of babe all this hard work will lead up to? Anyways. .. where the fuck is this all leading? Whatever happens we're going to end up old... If we're fucking girls we'll end up with kids... I don't really like kids all that much, tbh... That's kind of a sticking point. It's one of my excuses not to behave like a heterosexual. Has anyone gotten that far in their heads? Kids? I suppose if you like them it'll make your mission a little more clear. |

I care more about my personal/sex life than I care to prove something to you to be very honest with you. I don't take creepy pictures with girls.... because of my girlfriend, I actually have a bit of a "rockstar rule" of "no pictures" when I'm with other girls..... If you were to work with me for coaching, I'd most likely add you on Facebook. There I have a few pictures with girls if it really means that much to you. I've also let a few guys meet my girlfriend.... after they paid for it. But that's all my personal shit. You are, in no way, entitled to any of that knowledge or information.... unless you pay me for it. I could give a shit about being "the next RSD" where I've got a bunch of little fan boys sucking my dick. No thanks. |
