So is taking revenge wrong, by taking revenge are you preventing something worse happening to the person you have it in for.

Nice story, ya forgot who said it but some buddist guy said that no matter how much revenge you get you will always want more, so no point in acting as you will never feel like you got your revenge.

I still don't understand that post you quoted. I've re-read it a few times now.

Why ?

In the game a lot of people get hurt and cause hurt, not to mention most areas of life, the question is when thoughts of taking revenge [which every honest human being has had at some point in their lives}

Should they act on these thoughts and seek revenge
Should they adopt the attitude of '' Let it go, let it go, let it go''
Should they let it go in the knowledge that the universe or some higher power mets out its own justice and the wrongdoer gets punished to quote Sharespeare

Just curious about other peoples experiences. We largely live in a competitive or sometimes dog eat dog, bro betrays bro world not always but sometimes. None of us are total innocents and we cheat and hurt peoples feelings sometimes by accident sometimes callously and girls do that to us as well,sometimes a wingman or friend steals our girl and we feel let down and disapointed. Im just wondering, if you play do you pay, one way or another, what are other peoples experiences, has your dream girl ever dumped you for a jerk who later beat her up, have you been dumped by a girl for a rich guy who later went bankrupt, have you ever dumped a good 8 for what turned out to be a psychotic 9 who made your life hell. If we don't get it on the slide do we get it on the swings instead. A brief story from many moons ago when i was hardcore AFC with very poor social skills. I was working in security mostly night shift, met this girl got really infatuated after 3 dates and got major oneitis- she was on verge of being let go from her job so i pulled strings to get her job with the company i worked for, we exchanged calls i brought her home and banged her once, I fell in love and put her on pedistal. any way she cooled off on the contact and was always busy and i rarely seen her as we worked in different sites. when i called her then there would be strange ninny giggling in the background , and one day i arranged to meet her across the city where she was working in order to go meet up with her and she agreed, i went over there no sign of her, i asked the receptionist had C left, this guy who i didnt know acted like a bro and had the decency to tell me i was being played, C had left an hour earlier[she lied about what time she was getting off] with ''John'' i guy whom i once liked, he worked for the same company as me, i even introduced them. I called her and asked her how long she and John had been her and john. she spluttered she at first asked who told me that, then she lied and said they were just friends and eventually she said ''It just happened'' followed by some nonsense about it would never work out between me and her cause she loved me so much that if she was with me and i left her it would kill her.Oh and the best part was my ''friend'' John told her that i had feelings for a non existent ex that he made up, it was a complete lie on his part. I told her to Fuck off and hung up. I was angry and wanted to kick johns ass, and then i remembered that he sometimes worked in same building as me and that he made personal use of the company we were guarding's phones--an instant firing offence, i planned to turn him in but wanted enough time to pass to not make it obvious it was me reported it, bout 2 weeks went by and i still hadn't reported him as I never was a snitch and it didn't sit well with me also i was beginning to cool off a bit and realize she wasn't worth all the trouble. One night on week 5 he was at the building doing night guard, he was on patrol and got into an altercation with a heroin addict who stabbed him numerous times with knife and gave him a bad kicking--he eventually recovered fully thank God,not for his sake but for his peoples, wouldn't want any parent getting news that their son was dead. But thing is if i had got him fired over the use of the phones, he wouldn't have gotten assaulted by the john doe, and the beating he got was just exactly what i would have liked to give him, broken but not dead, she started seeing a third guy while he was in hospital and went on to make a mess of her life and is now fat and ugly having gone through several toxic relationships. So is taking revenge wrong, by taking revenge are you preventing something worse happening to the person you have it in for. Your thoughts and experiences please ???

Imagine if all my relationships were train wrecked and I had it out for every new girl that comes into my life. You will reduce your stress and anxiety about the future. Just let it go.
