When are some instances that I should AVOID actually opening? Is it normal to NOT open certain sets etc. :?:

not opening is like not putting food in your body but wanting to eat

Yeah, I understand that advice, maybe I could've worded my question differently. Let's say a woman got knocked down off her bike and she was picking herself up, you would change your approach to something like "are you okay?" right? So what if a woman you encounter is clearly in a bad mood, or what if they're doing something that looks REALLY important or confidential even? Do you deal with it once you've opened or do you dismiss these situations. I'd normally pass on these out of politeness and consideration. That's what my Original Question was about, sorry I didn't give any context beforehand.

Lol, if I saw a woman get knocked off her bike I'm not thinking PUA I am making sure she is okay

Anyway, there's no harm in trying, the worst case
Scenario is you get nothing. So you don't really lose anything.

That's very true, I suppose I wouldn't know either way unless I did open.

If you have status, then you can help her onto her bike and push her off again. She will appreciate the help once again.
