Post subject:	How do you go on?
How do you guys get past the initial time period where your friends/wings don't believe in pick up or have flaked on you/have limited beliefs? I don't really have the confidence to go out alone yet because I just started. Also, I'm only 19 so I can only do daygame because age to get in most clubs is 21+ What do you guys suggest? I'm not giving up honestly.

I was pretty lucky an ex-classmate and colleague introduced me into pickup after being in it for 2 years, so I had some sort of a free coach from the start. However, after a few months I talked to my youth friends about this, and they also thought it was stupid, like yours. Anyway, after by just telling my friends ''I'm going to talk to that girl'', and talk to them, I managed to convince some of them. It started with a few blow outs over a few nights but once they realised I didn't give a shit about that and especially when I kissed a girl within 5 minutes in front of their eyes they started changing their mind... slowly. They're still shy as fuck but at least they respect me for what I do now. It's not you with a limiting belief.

Get over it and go out alone, because you will learn so much more going out alone and actually practicing pickup than going out with friends and doing things other than pickup.

You're basically telling them "Come believe in this community, filled with guys selling you stuff for money who are telling you you can do AMAZING things." Harsh truth is 99% of PU is BS. Harsh truth is 99% of the guys are trying to take your money or just talk BS in general. Harsh truth is 99% of guys who start dont get good. Can you really wonder why anyone wouldnt believe in this? Because some guru said it is in his program? Prove to yourself first that something is possible. You cant say what is or is not a limiting belief unless you prove its possible. Guy tells me you can turn cat poop into diamonds. If I dont believe that its a limiting belief? LB is just a word to stick a dogma on to you so you cant ever say some technique doesnt work. Because if you try it 10,000 times and it doesnt work..well its not that my product is shit...you have a limiting belief. This isnt a bash PU post. There is some good stuff out there and you can do alot if you put in the work. But dont go in, believing shit is possible before proving it to yourself. Thats how you get more dogmatic instead of experimental. Cant really blame someone if they dont believe in PU, its like asking someone to join some pyramid scheme with all the scammers and hype out there. That doesnt mean you need to drop your friends because they dont want to invest their money into some dream that looks fake from the outset. You have to learn the shit, either alone or with other PU guys, and get good, see what works and whats BS. You think if I was your friend and you asked me to try investing in a risky business, I'd do so. What if you invested, got money and came back and told me? Then I'd be more trusting of the whole thing. So go out and figure it out yourself. Communicate to your friends clearly your goal, and that they dont need to join you, just keep the negativity and pessimism to themselves. Then SHOW them. Instead of asking them to take the word of some guy's newsletter right before he sells you a DVD.

When you want something bad enough, you're going to go out there and get it. If you're friends flaked on you and you didn't approach because of it, you also flaked on yourself and the mission at hand. So you're no better than them. Either you're going to make new friends, or you're going to man up and out there on your own to approach without them. This is how you become the leader, when you're willing to do the things that others aren't. In time they will see your success and come to you for the instruction on how they can obtain the same.
