| Post subject: | What do you think of this situation? (First Impressions) |
Im a senior in high school, I started reading about PUA at the beginning of the year. Coming from a bAFC, really shy, I dont think I ever even talked to a girl from 7th - 11th grade. Now I'm much more social. Anyway, this one particular girl, I know has attraction for me. At the beginning of the year, she added me on facebook. A while later I sent her a message saying I noticed something about you. She came up to me and was like what? I did the cube to her, and she was very receptive, but the conversation kind of fizzled, I didn't really know what to say and I over thought things. This was at the beginning of the year when my confidence was still really low, we both seemed pretty nervous. That was a long time ago, my confidence has gone way up. Now we make good eye contact, and we kino in the halls sometimes, and shit like that, but whenever we try to talk, both of us are really low energy, quiet, and don't say much. I consciously try to be in a high state throughout the entire day, and I'm usually successful. My question is, how, once you've established a certain frame can you change that? I would like a broad answer (not just relating to the situation), as I am seen as a loser by some from my other years when I was really introverted. Or the answer can be specific to my situation, either works. Thanks. |

Why don't you try telling her a funny story or something. Humor can be a great catalyst to a good conversation, and it may even become a running joke between the two of you. |

I recently shocked myself by majorly re-framing with a girl who'd stuck me in the Friend Box but I can't really tell you how to go about doing it. But, it CAN be done. Hopefully somebody more experienced can shed light. Good luck. |
