Goes like this. The usual. See hot girl in suggested friends. (Real profile, same city, she's not from here (London), no mutual friends). Never met her before. It appears sometimes Facebook suggests people if you've been in the same place or connected to same public wifi, no ones exactly sure why this happens). Added friend. Pending from last night. Want to hit her with an opener on messenger. Had quite a lot of success using FB, I know it shouldn't be the main way to use it, but just simple things in the past like when I was abroad and had success using it with hot girls that I shared FB mutual friends with like 'Where's good to go out on Friday night etc etc'... No mutual friends. Can go with the true explanation of she kept coming up in my suggested friends but I need an opener that's going to attract her attention and get her intrigued. Was going to go with " Hey crazy Spanish girl'. Spanish just for code, she could be Portuguese, Brazilian, Greek etc. The fact she is "Spanish" might get her thinking...how does this guy know me? My profile is pretty decent, quite private but I think it's intriguing. Say she does (if she does) comes back with something typical like Hey or how do you know me? Was planning to answer with something like ' you keep coming up in my suggested friends so I added you. Maybe because we have been in the same place...are you in London? I'm not sure the second part is right...I want to get past the initial opening and get to the stage where I can say something like " How do you like London, have you been to secret places yet? just something to get her thinking or move on to possibly meeting up. Basically want to go from Fb to meeting. Or can go for the number before that stage. Something more direct. "Send me your phone number, I'll show you the best things to do here and you can teach me Spanish... Appreciate this is FB, but any tips/ideas would be appreciated. |

So complicated man, this isn't a military mission You - I am confused Her- Why... You - I have been online for 3 min now and you STILL haven't said hi yet, how rude! Her - haha apologies, bla bla But dude, facebook has changed since 10 years ago, you're instantly put into a creep category, ESPECIALLY so if you have mutual friends. The next step is waiting so long for her to accept your friend request. The dynamic sucks When hot girls add me, I already automatically think it's a fake profile so I am on guard. If she has some natural activity on her wall from other people etc then that will confirm she is real which never happens unless I have been talking to her in the real life world |

Hey man. Thanks. I realised that whilst the new settings do filter messages without mutual friends, if you send it via messenger they don't get notified but the next time they open up FB messenger on a phone the message appears at the top and you can see it clearly...you can read it and you get an accept or ignore button. All future messages then go into inbox I believe. I know what you mean about creep category. We have this cousin, he's about 40 and all he does is message girls on FB. One day me and our younger cousins made a fake profile and added him for a joke and literally we had dozens of friend requests flying in from all sorts of weirdos! The only thing that makes me feel like I can have some success on FB or it's at least a bit easier for me is I have played pro soccer in the US and I have a wiki page (big deal I know!) so in my eyes it doesn't validate anything but can maybe put me in a 'decent' status category because my profile pic is a bit different. I feel like if she doesn't accept me (add last night - in fact added another last night who hasn't accepted yet-they love leaving people in pending), I will message, but you reckon to go with something like; " Hey, I'm confused' Got a feeling this might actually confuse her (language/cultural difference) lol I do feel like something like - "Hey crazy Spanish girl, do I know you? Facebook keeps suggesting me to add you as a friend...so I added you! |

Quite possibly! You know when things just happen naturally things always seem to fall into place. It's when I try and figure out some sort of masterplan I end up overthinking like mad! I guess it boils down to: Message girl - success - whatever that success is then great. Message girl - not success, big deal move on. Need to think like this more often. |

1. Shut off Facebook 2. Go outside 3. Approach women Unless you're a celebrity, a man will automatically get labelled a Facebook creeper f he asks girls out in that medium. |

To add, my gf just showed me on her FB IM a guy hitting on her. He said he tried to find her three times at the store she manages, but ultimately had to find her on Facebook. He asked her to "hang out". Lol. He wasn't ugly, either. She gets this shit daily. |

The above advice is correct. It's more beneficial to your game gaming women in person. Cold approach is a very usefully skill that can only be improved with in person experience. I generally use my FB to stay in touch with friends and family. Or to game chicks from other countries before hands since I do travel a lot. |
