So when I go out with a group of my friends, a lot of them will come up to me and pick my brain on "how I do it". With that in mind I'm sure a lot of the newer guys in this community could use the same advice.

First off, as you're just getting in to the game NEVER expect that the first girl you sarge is going to be a lay. In fact what I tell my buds, seeing as they lack confidence, is to not even make that the goal at first. You need to work up to that.
Now I've seen guys crash and burn and never try again, and that's the wrong attitude. You can't go out on you "maiden voyage" and expect a great success every time or else you'll end up like the Titanic. So what I tell my guys is to just get a number or a kiss, depending on the girl one is going to be easier to get than the other. It might take the newbie a few tries but as long as he keeps at it it will happen.
Once that happens you can physically see his confidence sky rocket! Then you just have to repeat that until your confident enough to move to the next step.

You aren't born in to the big leagues, you have to keep at it!

That's all I've got for today. Depending how the crowd reacts to this post I may continue to add more in the days to come.

Sounds like a great idea for a post. Definitely keeping adding once in a while.

Do you notice that after a guy's confidence goes way up his results also change?

Their confidence starts to change immensely! That is when they start to throw away the idea of never having success with women, and it will make them want to try again.

I'm sorry but you're not really adding much of relevance here. It's like telling a newbie at basketball not to expect clean hoops on a first throw, but rather to be happy if they even hit the post. I mean, yeah, that's pretty much common sense.

Also I'm not entirely sure if it's confidence or momentum that skyrockets. If your confidence boosts or drops based on how a random girl will react to your flirtacious attempts, that's not real confidence.

You know, I appreciate the criticism, but you can't tell me that every time you talked to the girl it didn't get a little easier the next.

I'm pretty much with R.C on this. The reason being is that I hardly ever think confidence is the problem when it comes to approaching women. I think it's the fear of rejection that causes the problems. I know guys that are attractive to women and will attempt to figure out ways to try to get the women to approach them and the end goal would be to avoid rejection.

To overcome a fear is just to face it.

This is very true. I'm contemplating posting here about how to get over it and deal with rejection to turn it in to a win.
