It's been years since I posted, was engaged, loved, lost etc.

I generally do fairly well with women but have identified a life long pattern and am at my wit's end to figure out why.

I am having a very unfortunate pattern of getting into the friend zone with a number of girls who end up dating people pretty similar to me in many ways.

A funny recent example, actress has to cancel as she spent the evening in the slammer (naked apparently).

I call her up the next day to see how she's doing and if we will have to cancel and she says yes and we start chatting and eventually she says she just wants to be friends, I respond me too, then I ask, you mean just friends? - yes...

So my question is simple, what are likely reasons to be friend zoned?
What can be done about it?

Some feedback I have gotten from lovers and female friends, I come across masculine enough, I come across slightly awkward, I am very direct, fairly confident, seem to want a relationship rather than just sex (not inherently accurate), I am going into situations with my intentions potentially too clear (What other outcomes are desirable at bars?)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Interesting, I had one date and used kino... What would you have tried? I generally get a feel for what they would be ok with before I do it, I think the issue is a bit before that... but not sure!

You're not escalating.

When you escalate you don't make friends. You get laid or the vibe isn't right and you move on. How many of these women have you touched, attempted to kiss, sleep with, etc. ?

NEVER come off like you want a relationship(even if that you want)and by that, I mean be unclear("time will tell", "taking it slow", "I actually have stuff to do right now" alike). Be the most unclear person, when it comes to commitment. Don't fall for any manipulation tricks and tests. It might be a bit uncomfy for you, to come off like that, but that is how it is.

All you need to do, is having fun. After few months, you can enjoy her interest in a relationship. And that is when you start showing it.

This is a very basic rule, that has been working for ever since humankind.

You've slept with all of them and then they friend zone you immediately after sex?
