Hi. First time poster here. So there is this girl I work with. Big mistake, I know. I'm her boss. We've worked together about 6 months. I've never really been interested in her. But she has grown on me. She is always really flirty at work and compliments my suits and calls me sexy often. Sometimes she will call after she leaves work just to see how things are going. We recently started texting and she asked me out for drinks and I agreed to meet her at a bar by her place. While we're together she jokes with other people at the bar that I'm her husband and comments about how this is our first date numerous times. I never referred to it as a date. She talks about how she needs to get laid and about how we must keep this a secret at work so I don't get in trouble. So anyway. After being there about 5 hours we are both drunk and I walk her home. When we get there i go in to give her a kiss and get totally rejected. I'm really confused. She tells me to text her when I get home. When I get home I say goodnight to her and she doesn't respond til the next day and she is really short with me all day. At one point I say I'm going to see a movie that night and she says don't get too drunk. I say "you think I'm an alcoholic or something" and she says nope I think you're easy. I was like wtf? Don't know how I'm easy when she pursued me for months or at least I thought she was. So, next day at work together she goes right back to acting the same as always. Flirty. Said she had a great time with me the other night and asked if she was cool enough to hang out again with me. Totally confused I make the mistake and ask why did she not kiss back when I tried to kiss her. She says she hadn't really even thought about it. So I say ok. I guess I got the wrong read on this whole situation. Let's just forget about it and not let things be weird at work. To which she responds "yeah". No more texts after that. I'm stumped. No idea what is up with this girl. Any ideas? |

She did have a great time, right up til you dropped the ball. Then she offered up the 2nd chance.
