So I have the confidence to go out and approach women, make small talk and get numbers. So how to a connect with a women on a date? (I have a problem with connecting and forming friendships with people in general) WHen I go on dates, it just feel so awkward most of the time and the girl always ends up texting people on her cellphone during the date. |

Making a good connection is a matter of finding mutual interests or at least some topics to talk about. Tell few funny stories that will put your friend in the right mood. Make several gentle touches and here you go – you will be chatting like best friends in the world.

Read "how to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carnegie. But basically, most of us like to talk about ourselves. So that's the tip: let her talk about herself. Not about the importance of sugar in cakes, but about herself. Goals, dreams, funny stories. Look at her in the eyes. Now and then tease her (loads of teasing) and talk a little about yourself too, so that you can relate to her. |
