So theres this big house party coming up this weekend and i really want to go. I know nearly every trick and line there is but something holds me back every time i want to go talk to a girl. If I'm introduced then i can kill it and get a good convo going and build attraction. but i think my sticking point is approach anxiety? but it only happens sometimes which is weird also Anyway, do any of you guys have some tips for me? also, if anyone has some short sure fire routines that you think could help me, that would really great. those are really motivational. i just need something that will just unleash my inner beast, i don't know what it is. I'm not afraid to approach and talk to a girl if its for a purpose like asking her if she knows about something and how do i find it and general things like that |

you're afraid of being judged. I am not gonna tell you some bullshit like "stop being afraid" or "you only live once" because that's like telling a cancer patient "stop having cancer" I am going to give you something more practical. watch this video, sasha mentions social exercises that you can do to reduce your fear of being judged.: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPbxzKF5Fgs If you dont feel like watching the video, here is the point of the video: whenever you see an opportunity for awkwardness, dont avoid it, jump in. be a weirdo. Go ask someone for directions, and when they are talking to you, put your finger in your nose and wipe it on your shirt (actual example from the video). create situations in which you get judged by other people. |
