Post subject:  How to Crack the Boyfriend Code?
I asked this HB for directions, then asked what she was doing tonight. Then invited her to a clubby lounge later and said to take my # and text me her name so I can text her the place and address (which she did).

Then I get a text saying:
"thanks for the invite. Can't make it out tonight. I have a boyfriend, but I think it was really great you took a chance and said hello. More guys should do that :) have a good night!"

Why did she text me her name if she had a boyfriend? Or is she lying about having a boyfriend? Is there anything that I can text back, or should I just delete her #?

Could be any reason pick up one of them.

She thought it was nice of you so she was being nice. Maybe you fucked up somewhere or she was not interested from the start. Regardless she's not interested.

Hahaha she's into you. No girl who didn't like you would ever do this.

Ignore the text and hit her up again in a couple weeks. Your non-response will build tension.

She's not interested, but you could cut a lot of confusion down by refining your approach. The problem that I see is that you didn't make yourself her focus in your exchange. Instead you made a club the prize and making yourself something that came along with it.
