The way I see it if she really wanted to speak to me she would initiate contact which she hasn't.

what would advice would you give if you were in the same situation?

Talk to her. Playfully ask if she's discovering anything interesting while stalking.

I've done a bit of research online for this, and from what I see it's a girl wanting attention, Am I right about this?

I have an ex who I haven't spoke to in months and has been silent, then out of nowhere she starts liking all my facebook posts and it's like every new post I make. I've not spoken to her or liked any of her facebook posts. The way I see it if she really wanted to speak to me she would initiate contact which she hasn't.

what would advice would you give if you were in the same situation?

Attention seeking.

Probably just fell out with a guy she's talking to. Thats usually what it is. Whenever a girl from old randomly reaches out to be out the blue I assume she was dumped and/or just feeling down recently looking for a pick me up. Now this can be turned into a lay, but I'm just not interested.

Not all the time though, just the majority of the time.

Just let her keep liking your post and see where it goes. In this world of social media man...people can hide behind a computer without making direct contact as a sign maybe she wants you to contact her first? I mean you just never know...

Generally they're being subtle about re-initiating some sort of contact. Could be trying to bait you into making the first move, could be out of anxiety, could be out of backward rationalization if things don't work again ("you'd contacted me!") sort of thing. My ex would do this often. 'Like' some of my new songs on Soundcloud, friend request some of my friends, etc.. I knew it was only a matter of time that she'd grow a pair and eventually reach-out (provided I didn't first).

First they like posts, then they gradually escalate and like more often, then they comment, then they comment more and more, eventually they just message. I literally do absolutely nothing until they message me (unless of course their comment is asking me a question, in any other case I'll just like their comment) Just let the girl in question come to you. She's gradually putting her toe in the water or whatever that expression is.

Ok thanks, I'll take your advice and let her come to me, although she's gone quiet again. I think initiating contact would make me look weak. Stupid question but what is the RC line?

YouTube the illusion of action. In short it's the typical manly "I have to take action!" Mindset which is effective in life and damaging with women. No you shouldn't initiate anything. Let her come to you.

They will hope this will prompt you to like their posts and compliment them.

Ok I will google that, yeah I think your right because it was so random makes me think some guy pissed her off and she was looking for attention from me, well she ain't gonna get it! I'm still pursuing other girls and if she messages me then I will do something.
