| Post subject: | should I push for a second date? |
Morning, Yesterday I had a first date in Brussels My date and I were having fun, moving her to different places, walking arm in arm,.... I was making slow progress but progress nonetheless. At one point we decided to do a little role play when we agreed to the bar she used to work. ( Me the russian stranger that doesn't speak a word dutch or french) After entering the bar it all went wrong. The only people in the bar was my date her ex-boyfriend's friends. ( they were very drunk) They started yelling the ex-boyfriend name and she got really uncomfortable to the point she had little tears in her eyes. We left without saying a word and I had no clue what to do at that point since the chemistry/between us was gone. We got in her car, she immediately proposed to drop me off where I was parked. Ride along was weird and quiet. She dropped me off and we agreed that our date was very bizarre. Should I try and push for a new date or would it just be a waste of time ? I know this girl is still heartbroken but she is 23y old and I can't imagine that she isn't craving for sex. thanks for the read guys ! |

Yes you should push for a second date. Don't bother saying things like "sorry about that bar" because it's not your fault and you'll look like a little bitch. Just phone her, act like it never even happened. She'll only be weirded out by it if you are. Just say "Hi. How's it going?" make a little small talk for a minute or 2, and then say "So, when are you free to get together again? I'd love to see you" and either set a date, or if she doesn't agree, just say "Ok, well give me a call if you change your mind" and go focus on other women. Out of curiosity, how likely is it that she knew they'd be there and took you there on purpose to make him jealous? |

To JD; Out of curiosity, how likely is it that she knew they'd be there and took you there on purpose to make him jealous? You made me reflect her actions by asking me this question and I think this might have been her hidden agenda. ( her boyfriend wasn't at the scene, just his friends....and they acted like fucking dicks) I don't care if she planned it or not, she's a girl and that's what they do I guess. If she is up for a second date I'll just make sure we meet in my city. Thanks for your help J.Daniels => BTW, I red this post on the forum about men becoming women and women becoming men. This is interesting because that's what my date said a couple of times to me in those ^exact words |

Why the fuck was she crying about? They were dicks so what... How long is it been since she broke with her ex? Text her soon again and see if she's available for a date, this time you choose the location (you should always be the one commanding things like that, never ask "so where do you wanna go" --> it's weak). If she declines, combined with tears from previous scene I would flush her number and game other girls. |

Just lay low for a while and let her come to you. Don't go chasing her. And shout out to those guys for being good friends. lol |

Definitely ask her for a second date if you want to. If you don't ask you won't know if she's interested or not. Worst she could do is say no. And I agree that you shouldn't bring up the prior situation in the bar. |

You fucked up at the bar. Should've taken her out of there and on to a venue once they started yelling or once you realized something was weird. Next time if something uncomfortable happens control it. |

ouch that's a classic cockblock. That happened to me in Manila with a big titted Pinay when these Swedish dudes ruined the party. All I could do was play it cool. I never saw her again, and before the dudes showed up we had plans for her to come to my place after drinks. The mistake we made is letting her choose the place. This can be okay but not if its a bar. That means she knows everyone there which is a terrible idea. Luckily, on the walk home after feeling defeated I ran into a different girl and got laid. It's the nature of the game. I play it like a cornerback with a short memory. |

Why would you take her to a place where there is any possibility of seeing someone she might know on the first time out with her? What were you thinking? |

I'm glad I made this mistake because now I know the full effect off how wrong things can end up if you're not leading. It was a valuable lesson for me |
