Hey guys, I'm pretty new here, but I have been reading the forums for a while now. Anyways, I met this girl at a bar, and we clicked right away. I took her home that night, and went straight to business. What I can't figure out is where is this going to lead too. I was planning to ask her out last week, but I'm so happy I didn't because I have been talking to her, and seeing how she feels about anything, and she did bring up that she is "not ready for a relationship yet", she got out of a 4 year on and off realtionship 5 months ago. Honestly , I don't know what to do. Should I continue to go with the flow, or should I start slowly cutting back and look at my other options. I love everything about this girl, and I want her MINE! What should I do guys? or What would you do? |

For one you should not be posting in the relationship subforum about someone you are not in a relationship with. Rules say so. Regardless, a relationship is first built and agreed upon later. Not the other way around. So if you want to be a couple, just do things couples do. Which by the sound of it, you already have been doing. Go out with common friends, have fun, cook together, go on dates, netflix and chill, go watch movies, get drunk. Whatever. By the sound of it, she's enjoying herself with you, so just continue doing what you've been doing. LTR's leave people burnt out for a while. So naturally they'll be reluctant to jump head first into the next relationship without being convinced there's a very high chance that it's actually worth it. Don't push it on her. Let her come to you. And don't change your behavior in some weird, uncalled for way. |

Let her be the one to pursue the relationship. |

seems like a reversal of how things usually work hahaha. dont push it, just keep doing couple things, but keep your heart tucked away and reserved because sometimes the "i dont want relationship" line means she's secretly texting and talking to other dudes. and then you find the cold hard truth one day and it collapses your world. so DONT get too committed to this, just have fun and go with the flow. |

Thanks for all the great advise. I also have noticed that I do bring that topic up when I am drunk, and i kinda spill the beans of how I feel about her and what I want. I need to stop doing this though, because if anything that will scare her off. Best thing to do is probably just go with the flow, and never bring up being in a relationship, until she approaches me about it. |

Go with the flow and continue to enjoy spending time with her. As she gets over her last relationship and you continue doing the right things she's going to be ready for a relationship. I hope it works out awesomely. Follow your gut as it will never steer you wrong. |
