So I met this girl last weekend, shes pretty cute and is definitely someone I would date. I didnt get a chance to ask for her number because out interaction was les than 15 minutes and we were in a small group of friends. Fast forward to yesterday one of my friends told me she thought I was cute and she wanted him to give me her number. How do I start a text convo to ask her out??

Just normally ask what's up. The girl likes so the conversation should roll nice. Aim for a date, don't talk too much or wait for a second day of talking or something like that - you missed you're chance to lead for the first time by not taking a number, don't hesitate again - you're the man.

It's an open invite. The girl WANTS you to contact her and WANTS you to ask her out.

Do yourself a favour and just be normal. Don't go gamey.

Example of a text I would use:

"Friend x, said that you found this charming guy with green eyes, short brown hair to be attractive. Is this true?"

Green eyes, short brown hair are just descriptors. Describe yourself so that it is obvious who you are. She will get in on the mystery and play along.

This.

Or at least carry the same vibe/attitude you had when you met her. Don't say something stupid to change her mind.

"So my friend says you think I look like Prince Charming and that you fell in love with my blond suave hair"

There's no point in telling you what to text her, since our personalities don't match. The line above would probably fuck up your chances.

So that being said, listen to what Charles and Jack said.

LMAO. I restrained myself and you must've sensed I was unhappy about it.

Some people have to learn game before they can do it.

I see what you're saying, I actually texted a girl for a roommate once and actually got him to visit her at her dorm at like 1 oclock. But they were my words, he later came back an hour later empty handed. Couldn't really measure up to what I was texting her (he was new to the game).

Lol that is awesome.

It's really a preference on if you want to be good at text game or not. I gamed with a natural for years who understands social dynamics but would never send some stuff like I mentioned above. He would be more interest and less game. At least for me, I have found that I can do far more with my leads when having those text skills. In comparison you could just have more leads. In addition for any newbie, text game is phenomenal to learn because these conversational structures you will see are the same that happen in real life, just with plenty of time to learn and get better.
