| Post subject: | Girlfriend afraid of losing me |
So I think that my new girlfriend is afraid of losing me. She often tell me that she miss me and that I shouldn't forget her. I always tell her that I love her, I'm there for here and I won't forget her. She just texted me again that I shouldn't forget her and I asked why she asks me that question. She said it's because she had never tried before in her life that someone really loves her and that she means something for someone, before she met me (not even her parents). Any idea to something deep or just what I could tell her now to make her know that I'm the one for here? |

It's not that deep. It's called a 'shit test'. In this case I would say it a good thing, if you are moving in the LTR direction. All women test men. They test and probe to get a sense of a man’s strength and his level of congruence with what he says. If a woman tests you and she senses weakness either in your love for her, or in your level of commitment to actually following through on the things you say, she will probe further. In other words, do your actions match your words? The newer the girl, the more often the test. With that said, ask yourself, are you here to pick up women? Or are you insecure about losing this one? |

Not to sound like a manipulative asshole... but why is it a bad thing that you have her scared to lose you? Keep her on the fence and you'll keep her interested. |

Why are you looking for a new way to prove yourself if she's clearly stating that she already thinks you're so much better than her? What else is there to say? What are you looking for? |
