Post subject:  One of my "friends" is trying to talk to my ex

This guy who i thought was a friend is trying to talk to my ex through instagram. This guy i would consider one of my close friends who i talk to almost everyday. I already stopped talking to him but he has no idea why. Should i call him out? or just let him do whatever he wants and ignore him. My whole thing is that I dont want her in my life so if you're trying to talk to her then i don't want you in my life either.

Why is this in the relationship subforum?

And if he's such a close friend why not tell him you ain't over her and can't deal with having her in your life at the moment, even if it's through him?

Sounded like a good place to put it

I dated her for a year and broke up with her because of something she said...maybe im over reacting? but I just dont think its cool to get with one of your friends' girls on a rebound

The rules of the subforum can be vague...

Relationship Subforum Rules
1. Posts about how to get a girlfriend will result in a ban.
2. Posts about your ex-girlfriend will result in a ban.
3. Any other posts not related to your current girlfriend will result in a ban.

I can see why it sounded like a good place to put it ;)

Just giving you a hard time. I've moved it to where it should be...

As for you question - I don't really think it's cool if he hasn't actually asked you or talked to you about it... You could ask him what he's doing and if he's after your sloppy seconds - see what he says?

There is no right or wrong answer, IMO. Some guys have no issues with their exes getting with one of their friends and some guys do. If your friend knows that you have a problem with this then he doesn't respect your friendship and shouldn't have been called a friend in the first place.

The fact that you just quit talking to him without explaining yourself is pretty much a bitch reaction to this situation. It doesn't mean calling him out and casting judgement on him. It means that you give him your point of view on the whole situation and he can give you his. That's how mature men work out their differences.

Okay so he texted me asking why i stopped talking to him and I told him how i felt about the whole thing and that i don't want to associate with anything or anyone that reminds me of her and that i don't care whether he talks to her or not but i just dont want her in my life.At first he tried to play it cool saying that he related to one of the pics that she posted so he commented but then he agreed with me and apologized

Or you can get over your ex like an adult? Seems silly to get mad at him unless she did something wrong. And no, breaking up isn't wrong.

What did she say that made you break up with her? Just curious

She got mad at me for hanging out with my friends and told me she was going to find some guy's dick to suck

Fuck that girl.

No. If he asks just tell him. "I know you're talking to suzie, not cool."

Do this. There are millions of people on the earth, if he wants to risk your friendship with a girl who would do fucked up things and talk to her guy's friends then he can go find new friends.

Good guy friends are hard to find.

LOL Wow...

You're clearly not over her yet, nothing wrong with that. I can understand why it'd irk you knowing your friend and her are talking. Respectfully inform your friend as to how you're feeling and if he can't respect your wishes than NEXT him as well. You've got to put yourself No.1 and if they're fooling around that's not healthy for you.

It sounds like you know you need to tell him and her to fuck off... But you really don't want to.

I used to do this to. I'd avoid conflict because I didn't want to be the one to tarnish the relationship.

Look at what type of relationship it is... your "friend" just seems like he's saying what he's saying so you'll just shut up. Not cause he's actually concerned with what you're feeling.

Fuck her and fuck that guy.

What do you mean " should I call him out " ?

If you still want to be friends with him, see what he has to say for himself. Thats your friend. To him it could of been no big deal.

Am I the only one that doesn't believe an ex is off limits unless she was abusive, robbed you etc?
