Post subject:  buying a watch
I want to buy a watch, I don't care about the brand, I just want to know what time it is.
There are chinese watches on ebay that can be bought for under $10
I am just concerned if I wear those, it will scream "cheap ass"
do people care what brand watch you wear? the brand font is tiny anyway, who the hell is going to read that?
should I buy a rolex? but then if a girl wants me for my rolex, she can go to hell, I dont want her.

I knew you would catch this contradiction. I guess I am just buying it for style, to add character?

I know an alpha male doesn't care about what people think, but there are limitations to that:
an alpha male cant have bad breath and say "oh, I am an alpha male, I dont care"
he cant pick his nose in public and say "oh, I dont care, I am an alpha male"
you know what I mean? there are some things you just have to care about.

is your watch one of them? if it looks cheap, does it scream "cheap ass"?

I am guessing it's one of those things "if you dont have a problem with it, neither will the girl"

Alright so you lied. It isn't just for time and you do care about what other people think - hence the reason this is even a post.

I'm personally a quality guy. I don't care if anyone else knows its quality, I just like to know I'm wearing higher end material. I'm high quality period, women, clothes, jewelry etc. I'm not a brand guy though. I have three hundred dollar hoodies that look like plain hoodies. I just like the way they feel. No one would ever know and they probably look like plain sweaters to everyone else.

My desire for higher quality material pushes me to develop a higher quality of life.

And an alpha male is what an alpha male is man. Theres no real rules to it man. A lot of it is about how you feel about yourself.

You can be the alpha male with the cheap watch, or the alpha male with the expensive one. You can be the alpha male with the cheap hoodie, or the alpha with the expensive one. And you can be the alpha male with the smelly breath, or the alpha male with the minty fresh breath. Each type exist.

Its more about how comfortable you are with yourself and how comfortable you are being yourself.

You want the cheap watch get it man. If it doesn't bother you, it won't effect your state or frame that much to make that much of a difference. I'd pick up a chick with a cheap watch, expensive one, or no watch at all. I just prefer the expensive one personally. But its not about my watch, its about me.

You know the expression.. Does the shoes make the man or the man make the shoes? Your basketball game doesn't change much just because of the shoes. Some may allow you to leap a tad bit higher because of their weight, but ultimately you have to have the "game" to go with it. Michael Jordan would beat me in a 1 on 1 in chuck taylors even if i had the greatest shoes in the world on. Picking up women is a "skill" like being good at basketball is..its not something you can buy.
