I read in the book Mode One that it is more effective to be direct with women. At the same time, I read in Mystery's book that one should create room for plausible deniability on the part of the woman. The two seem contradictory. Can someone comment on this? Can the two be reconciled or does this come down to personal preference? |

Arrange a date with 20 girls on tinder. Then ask 10 girls to come to your place to fuck Then ask 10 girls to come meet you for a "drink and Netflix" Im pretty confident for the latter will be more fruitful from my experience. Girls are not stupid, they know what Netflix means. It's just classy and less vulgar way of asking in my opinion. Having the feeling this thread will turn into a massive debate though. Bring it on. |

Your illustration is very convincing. I would be interested to hear an argument on the side of being more direct. Since no one has said anything, I am wondering if you should ever take the "mode one" approach? |

Dragula makes a great point. From my perspective it depends on why you're in this. Is it for satisfaction and growth or just to get laid? I find those " lets just go fuck" lays a lot more satisfying than the "lets watch a movie and then gradually transition into sex" lays. The same way I find seducing sober women and having sex with them a lot more satisfying than seducing semi intoxicated women. It almost feels like I'm cheating. I'm a lot more likely to let the girl hang around after the sex that I was direct and upfront with than I am to allow the girl I took the backdoor with to hang around. The latter usually gets the taxi call immediately after. But then again, I'm not in this to rack up high numbers, I've been getting laid consistently since I was young. I want the most satisfying lays. Another reason I prefer meeting women outside of the nightclub/bar environment. |

So the consensus is that it is generally less effective to be direct? The mode one guy claims that it is more effective. Is he just wrong? |

Try both and find what works for you. I have found Mystery's style to be generally more effective for me, but I know guys that go straight up to a girl and introduce themselves with great success. They talk to the girl directly and it works for them. Try both and then you can calibrate which would be better in different moments. Like for me, I have always been best at going indirect, but I can get better at going direct.

I agree that the best guide is to try these things out. The problem is that there are so many confounding variables. So if you share your experience, that would help immensely. Here are these confounding variables I had in mind: online vs. face-to-face, day vs. night, good girls vs. wild girls. There's also combinations but let's not go there. So how would you rate your relative level of success going "mode one" vs. plausible deniability in the situations: - online - face-to-face - day - night - "good" girls - wild girls Thanks. |
