Hi.

My old oneitis (who friendzoned me but still texts me almost everyday and loves to hang out with me) has a bf she is not very into.

He is beta, not phisically her type, and she already told me she is not happy with his lifestyle (low education, low income job, does not want to do diferent or fun stuff). She pretty much told me she "settled" for that in lack of better alternatives.

How do I get him out of the picture and win her over?

You're beta too, AND friend zoned. You have a better chance of scaling Mount Everest.

So you got friend zoned, and you're still hanging around her and contacting her even if after she's gotten a new boyfriend and he's the "beta" ? So what does that make you? If she's with him and she's not with you, he's obviously doing something that you couldn't.

Chasing Ex's is pointless 9 times out of 10. Even if you do get her back, the reasons you broke up with her in the first place are likely to still be present. It is only our own mind fuck that leads us to think that things will be better the second time around. They will be the same more than likely.

Until you remove yourself from this situation you will not be able to look at it from and outside point of view enough to do anything about it.

If you want any chance with the girl you have to give yourself space man. She would need time to think about you and miss you. For example: Stop responding to her text for a little while.

You're currently allowing her to have the best of both worlds. She has a current boyfriend, and a ex as her friend to lean on in the background. What would prompt her to want to change this? She has your attention and focus without having to have sex with you, or commit to you, or do any girlfriend like task. Why would she just start doing it? You're already giving her everything before she had to.

I'd advise you to just completely move on. Don't move on with the intention of getting her back, completely just move on with your life. You will love again. We always do.
