So I'm still in high school and number closed this girl I met on the street. I got to admit I didn't build much rapport as I was literally under a short time constraint. I really do like this girl but I sent her a direct text opener "So I thought I just saw you, and went up to say hi, but it turned out it was this Mexican girl". She didn't answer for a day. I'm really tempted to just text her and be super direct. Basically say " Hey last time.I talked.to you I really didn't have the chance to say you're very cute and interested I. Meeting.up. I know it sounds.direct but at least hopefully I can get a reply if she's.interested and if no reply move on. What do you guys think?

These two statements are contradictions. You can't really like a guy that you didn't build more rapport with. How would you even know if you liked her? This is still a young mentality you're going to have to grow out of. Its like the nerd in high school "liking" the popular cheerleader that he's never had a conversation with. If he actually talked to her, he would realize that he doesn't like her.

Many phone numbers will not go anywhere. Thats apart of the game. She saw your text; its likely she just wasn't interested because it was obviously just some fabricated non sense. I wouldn't reply to that either.

You want to reopen.. Just be cool and casual " Hey, what are you doing? its thekid12". Save the canned lines and openers for the guys that invented them. You're still young so you're going to have to trial and error to develop your skill. Join the game for the long run, not for the temporary gain.
