Post subject:  I think i'm talking with a robot.

Hi guys.

Recently I added girls to my Facebook list.

So far I talked with just a girl. I was able to find something to open indirect ( i commented on a photo she posted. It was something about a project she was working on ).

Anyway, my problem is that she reply like a robot. For example:

Me: So now you're in the exams session?
She: Yes.

Me: When do you finish with that?
She: On 19th of June.

Me: So are you from Bucharest ( the city I live, also the capital of my country) or you came here to study?
She: Bucharest.

And if I don't ask her, she won't say anything. She asked me if I'm in collage, I said no, I just finished the high school and she asked me if I want to go to her collage and I said no. After that she was very cold.
Now she doesn't ask me back anything.
You get it. I would like to have a normal conversation with her like where you like to go seaside or mountain and lots of stuff to be able to make her feel comfortable and to make her feel good talking to me.

And if I can get there I'll ask her out for a walk in the park or to go shopping. I've got some "strategies" for my future dates.

So what do you think? What should I do?

Is it worth to continue to talk to her? Or should I keep looking for girls who are more interested in talking with me and who respond better?

Aim your phrases to have open ended responses that require slight explanations.

Or at the very least, don't ask back to back questions like that. When You ask a question go deeper on the answer to get a story out of her.

Me: So now you're in the exams session?
She: Yes.

me: how is it going?
Her: (explains how exams are going)

me: a related story about exams, a joke to her response, or simply acknowledging her answer if it was negative and then switching to a more fun topic.

ALL YOUR QUESTIONS that were used were to gain factual information...no personality whatsoever...she won't respond to that...nothing interesting for her to grab onto.

Thanks guys for answers.

So how should I ask her, or how should I formulate the questions?

It is not what to do but how to think.

Why are you contacting this girl? What's the goal...

My goal is to make her comfortable talking to me, so I can ask her out and have a date with her.

All of your questions were deadend questioned/close ended questions.

What do you do? Blah

Where do you work? " blah

And all she did was follow up your lead by asking your dead end questions and she did what she did by giving closed responses. Its more you than it is her because you're the one that kicked off the entire interaction.

Ask open ended questions. Ask How/Why type questions to get you into a rhythm that allows you to communicate through statements.

How did you get that job?

Why did you choose that job?

Why did you choose that school?

What do you like about that school?

Have you traveled? Where have you gone? What's it like there?

All of these questions leave room from an elaborate response.

She is really, really not interested in you, man.

What a lot of effort... Easier to find another who may have a higher opinion of you?
