Ok, so I had to leave work early to go to the dentist. Get there and there's a hb7 (Dental assistant) there. Awesome... So I finally get in and she's in there with me and we just start having a fun little conversation, nothing big. I noticed she has a ring on her finger. I was well, this is a no-go, but I kept on talking to her with the intent of it not going anywhere and it was actually a really fun conversation. During the first conversation she told me that if my crown was to fall out I needed to call them to get it glued back on. I jokingly said I can't just use super glue? She said "please don't." When the dentist was done putting my crown on she was telling me the same thing, and I said jokingly, "she (pointing at the HB7) said I could use superglue." The Dentist eye's got huge and the hb7 denied it and I was already laughing and they started laughing as well. I know Eddie has been telling me this to go in without expecting something and it seemed to work really well. Is this the mindset you always need when you go out and talk with women? I want to kind of think that it would be different in a club, where you are trying to go out and get laid. or is it the same everywhere? |

Lol funny break in rapport. That's good you laughed so they knew you were joking. Having that zero expectation mindset will help you anywhere. Keep it up. |

Learning to expecting nothing is just step 1. And its absolutely better than expecting things to not go your way. Thats most a lot of guys major mistake. They expect not to be liked and then communicate from this frame and receive a reflection of what their frame was projecting. So yeah. Its an epiphany that marked an upgrade in your understanding. Not the say all, be all though. But definitely where you should be operating from at the point in your journey. Salute. |

Yeah it kinda just hit me. I was pretty excited afterwards and it really wasn't that hard/bad. It was actually really fun. So yeah. Its an epiphany that marked an upgrade in your understanding. Not the say all, be all though. But definitely where you should be operating from at the point in your journey. Salute. It was kinda weird though too. I'm working on maintaining eye contact, waiting for them to break first. She held contact for awhile, and finally broke it. It seemed after that I just "Naturally" went into a conversation. If that makes sense |
