I've always had hubris. And to a degree, it worked well. But of course, hubris never really works well in the long run... Now I'm deciding whether to embrace my hubris and simply temper it during serious matters, or eliminate it by learning empathy and humility. So basically, I'd like to know what you think would be the right stuff for me. I have no approach anxiety and I can pull off stunts that give me the "shock effect" results, like apocalypse openers, buying girls drinks, and challenging random people with games of chess and arm wrestling. I'd like a more stable method that don't rely on super-bold maneuvers to get somewhere, as those bold things can be mentally exhausting. lol |

The more success you find. The more confidence you will develop and the more "arrogant" you will become. If you look at all the greatest athletes, there is a level of arrogance about them. They believe in themselves and their ability fully. A belief that people without mistake for arrogance. Your hubris will help if its genuine. If its some cocky/funny false projection that hasn't been backed by any success people will pick up on it and it will turn them off. And if your hubris is genuine, making a bold move should be something you gravitate to. |
