So I matched with this girl on an app and she is very good looking. I am in a certain small community so its very difficult to find hot girls who sounds ok. We had been messaging for a while and she suggested dates and we kind of didnt get it arranged. Thought I would try one more time last fri and we set a date for tomorrow. I just messaged her about meeting time for tomorrow and she replied that she is going to have to cancel as she has started seeing someone and it wouldnt be appropriate. It was a nice message and I respect her for being honest and not ignoring the message. So I have two options now. One is play mr cool/not so bothered and say 'no probs etc.' The other option is to be a bit more assertive/dominant/dont give up 'ish and tell her that she should meet me and then make up her mind or something. Maybe there is a better way of putting it. What would you guys do?.. if I leave it, I dont have any other options in this community I am talking to and dont know when I next will. |

It's not a test. She's trying to be respectful and up front! "Cool - no worries. It was great chatting with you" is the correct reply. |

HI Charles, I agree it's not a test. I'm asking becuase I would like to meet here but want to know whether its worth trying to play a bit dom and tell her to come and meet me..

I personally think there is a chance that she lost interest and is using this as her ticket out. Your long post about a girl you've yet to meet, and your scarcity mentality is usually that of what would push a girl away. Regardless of whether or not your town has 10 million people or 10,000 people, you still have to believe in your ability to attract other quality women. Attraction doesn't care about the fact that she could be the only girl in your community who is worth your time, attract needs your self belief in your ability to get others despite your outside circumstances. Attraction is generated on the inside, not the outside. So i think you've pushed her away with the same attitude you're displaying here. One of scarcity - which maybe valid because of your circumstance, but attraction doesn't care about validity or reality. It beats to its own drum. You have to still have the attitude of a guy who lives in a community with a billion other beautiful women even if you don't. If you don't wanna give up, hit her with a joke and see how she responds.. Her response will tell you if it was the fact that she met someone new, or if it was just you. Charles's response is also effective.. If she doesn't reply, she truly met someone else, if she does.. There may be a chance there. But there is NO CHANCE so long as your attitude toward her stays where it is. |
