So I've known the girl for a month. We went on 2 dates, kissed and cuddled on both dates. Then all of a sudden so completely ignored me for 2 weeks. I bumped into her on college campus. We ended up having a really long talk. She gave me some really bullshit excuse along the lines of: "It's not you, it's me. I have a lot of psychological issues and I find it hard to trust people." "You're too good for me" "I don't just ignore you, I ignore everyone else in my life" "I lock myself out and say fuck the world" "I'm just really not ready YET" etc etc etc, just a long list of reasons. I asked her to tell me truthfully, "Do you even like me?" She said yes she really does (i think is horse shit because if she did really like me, her insecurities wouldn't matter). She said if I want this to work then I have to be really patient. So now I have 2 choices. Either TRUST her and be patient or DROP her and move on to another girl. Can I get some opinions PLEASE? |

You can fuck a girl and still get the LJBF's speech. I had a white night stand with a fine ass chick inside of a diner once that hit me with the speech the next morning. Sex was great.. I just became too eager and high off the moment. You sound desperate and frustrated with her.. Which both equal the friend zone. As my man above said.. Don't waste any more of your time with her. |

"She said if I want this to work then I have to be really patient." Mate she's trying to tell you she likes you but you are rushing things + persueing her too much, which turns her off. In your situation you must stop initating contact and see what happens. That doesn't mean call her again in a few weeks, you must wait for her or else you will turn her off again and show her you're still the same insecure guy. Never ask a girl if she likes you. Assume she does. |

He had 2 whole dates with her (and besides, she sounds mentally messed up and not especially great to be around). Why on earth would he wait around for her? Mate she's trying to tell you she likes you but you are rushing things + persueing her too much, which turns her off. In your situation you must stop initating contact and see what happens. Usually I'd say walk...but you know what...be patient and see. Of course keep your options open and see other girls. But if she's saying she likes you, be patient and still see her. The reason I say this is because at the end of the day, if it doesnt work out, you'll learn firsthand that being patient doesnt work. Or if it does work, you'll learn firsthand that being patient can work. What do you really have to lose if you keep it as a side project? At least you'll learn from experience as opposed to other people's experience. Just my 2c |
