Post subject:  Success vs Mindset (Hypocritical?)

So there's something I'm confused on with respect to PU. In the old days, it seemed like PU was largely success/results focused. Little inner game stuff, most emphasis on lays, kiss closes, number closes and how far you got in X model. Now it seems more inner game focused; be yourself, act through your intentions, have abundance, party and have fun. However, it seems to me like this shift was more of a marketing ploy or a bandaid for poor techniques and models for dating by companies. Because "flash game" and drunken makeouts/lays are celebrated when they occur. Abundance, is believing you can approach; not being able to get girls attracted or into you consistently. So you're told to have fun, when you have a bad night its because the girls were boring. When you lay a drunk chick, its because of your game. I never understood the hypocrisy. Is it a skill to be practiced? Or simply a numbers game and you just be yourself? I can't understand the celebration of the flashy videos and pulls, then be told that mindset is what matters. I can't understand the "be centered and medidate...you're enough" then be told to engage in ONS for validation. Being grounded somehow doesnt mesh with banging 10's for validation. I can say, most girls I've hooked up with were for validation, and I accept that. But I'm not big into the whole medidation/ you're enough thing. So maybe someone can explain the mindset to me

I believe mindset is very important, but so is taking action and getting success through that. They both perpetuate each other. Mindset helps you get success and getting success helps build your mindset. The "flash game" is what gives a lot of motivation to most guys because they can see what's possible. Of course the "flash game" creates a strong emotional response and can help guys take action.
