Hey guys, There's a HB8 that worked as an intern last year at my work place. I friended her on facebook and we kept talking on and off. She has a boyfriend. She gave me her number so we could text on SPAM. For last couple of weeks, we have been texting almost everyday. I started by flirting with her and made it clear that I like her, she said she has a BF and that was that. I kept flirting, she did not respond to it but did not ignore me either. She was actually being nice to me. 3 days ago, we met after a year, I am teaching her a short course on user experience for mobile. After our first meeting, she messaged me at night saying, she was pleasantly surprised by me. She wasn't expecting me to be so funny/intelligent. We met again the next day. Today, I messaged her, one thing led to another and I told her that I like her and I would like to spend more time with her. She responded with "I have a BF and that won't be possible." Later she asked me what would I have done if I were in her place? And what do I want her to do? She said they are in a relationship and she can't promise anything. I said I'd still take my chances with her. I'm meeting her again today. What should my next move be? A. Keep meeting her, keep flirting in person and on text? B. Stop meeting her altogether? (I'm teaching her a course, that would be unfair) C. Pretend like nothing happened and ignore her other than classes? I could really use some advice here. |

^^ Stop doing this immediately. Not just to this girl. To any girl... See what happened when you did it? Immediate friend-zone. It happens more than not. Could be you aren't saying it properly, or could be she's just weirded out by hearing it. The girl knows you're into her if you ACT appropriately flirty and escalate that way... As soon as you say those words... You make it a lot harder for yourself. Quote:

I have to be honest - I do not think she's into you, man... And I think you've probably blown it to the point where it probably isn't going to happen. The questions you're asking here are because you WANT her to still be an option for you... My best advice is to back off, and start meeting other girls. Be pre-occupied with them and have fun, while being friendly and happy around this one. If she's on your Facebook, it would probably not hurt if she saw you were out having a lot of fun with other good-looking girls either. |

Message her and say you can't make it - your too desperate and available ! That's the problem, - blow it off and don't apologise, don't message her a lot, just be aluf |
