I approached this chick at a party. I'm 19, and she's 23. She was pretty interested in me, noticed many IOIs however, we talked for about 30-40 minutes including dancing and went out to talk somewhere "more private" ended up with a number close. I texted her the next day, and we've been texting since then, which is 3 days now. I was about to fix up a date with her, however, she to had to go out of the city urgently because of some reason (now, I'm pretty sure she wasn't lying just to avoid the date if that's what you're thinking). I've texted her first twice and once she initiated the conversation first and we've fixed up a date next week. I've been very C&F and I still remain mysterious to her. Now, my real question is how often should I text her and is it bad if I initiate first? Because I know one week sounds like a long time, but I wanna keep it spiced up until we meet, by texting. One more thing, out of all the conversations we've had, I've always been the first one to end them.

P.S She hasn't texted me today, and I'm not sure whether to initiate first or wait for her to text me. Help me out with this, fellas. Thanks!

EDIT: She just texted me, I guess all's good. Any advices on would still be appreciated.
