I met this girl named Katie about 3 weeks ago and we've been seeing each other since. We get on really well, we enjoy hanging out with each other. We kissed the first night we met, and a few times since. She has repeatedly told me that she's single and that she really likes me, but we still haven't F-closed yet... So, last night, I was at a club with herself and two of her friends. I asked one of her friends if Kate was actually single. She told me that Kate has a boyfriend, but that "it's complicated!" What should I do? |

You're on a pua forum so pretty much the advice you're going to get is to proceed as normal, get her to a private location and escalate. Also remember the friends may be trying to cockblock out of jealousy or a million other reasons. |

Yeah I would say the friend may be cockblocking. Ive been in the situation several times. Be consistent with her, and don't let her know that her friends told you that. Seclude her. Keep her coming over to your place, Movie night, cook her dinner, etc. |

I actually think that she does have a boyfriend and that her friend is telling is telling the truth. There have been a few other signs that she has a boyfriend, but that she still likes me. In any event, it's clear that she likes me, so I will continue to escalate! |
