I said not yet. then she was looking at me like "you are asking me this because...?" so I said "oh, I read online I have to talk to hot women, that's why I started talking to you" she said "I appreciate that."
Then for some weird reason, I asked "have you ever had a boyfriend?"
WTF? what kind of question is that? was I subconsciously negging?

just FYI, her answer was "I did, but he was a jerk. I am not looking for anything right now" would you back off at this point or continue?

I agree with you but I dont know how to flirt. How do I get a flirtatious vibe? I remember someone once saying "it doesn't matter what you say. You can flirt with someone reading a restaurant menu"
I totally agree but again, I dont know how to flirt. I dont know how to appear to be flirting. I dont know how to get that demeanor and vibe.

Well that was awkward... If you legitimately do not care about the outcome - you keep pushing till you get a hard no, man. Was this straight-up cold approach or were you getting some precursory IOIs first? If it was straight-up, yeah, I'd have probably bailed... wasn't interested to begin with, and wasn't interested after chatting.

its all in the energy you put off I cold approached a girl on the street with my fun loving care free bad bay demeanor. Albeit I slipped up a little we've been dating since early june. If you were projecting the proper energy you could have made that work.

If you've had a girlfriend, think back to how you would talk to her after sex, the comfortable laid back vibe where she would be happily giggling at whatever you said.

I would have pushed the interaction further, that's how you learn the most. She basically gave you a no, but you could have pushed it a little farther. The other day, I got one of the hardest no's i have ever received, she tried to bring one of her guy friends in to take me away from their table, I ignored him. She even put an ice-cube down my shirt because she was so frustrated I was there- my response- "So you are into that kind of kinky shit baby? How'd you know I was into that type of thing?" I ended up starting to win over her friends with that response. I said it for my own self-amusement, and didn't give a shit what she thought. The point is, when the circumstances aren't good, fuck with the circumstances. Say some crazy ass shit, and you will be surprised how much you can get away with.
