Myself I don't go out looking like a slob but I'd like to be known as someone who knows how to put themselves together. A sense of fashion is not an important skillset but it relays to women that you have good taste... and I'm sure a few other things that I cannot mention off the top of my head. Different people will react to different outfits. A country girl will react better, at least assumingly, to a guy that's wearing boots, jeans, plaid shirt and so on. Unless we're going for the idea that opposite attract, which they do, but, not to such extremes. There has to be similarities for the person to use as common ground to walk on that bonds the two and differences not so extreme that intrigue the other to the point of wanting to explore them.

This conversation isn't so much about the social dynamics of what attracts what because according to to many PUA's attraction is not a choice and can be triggered in anyone.

The question here is does anyone have advice on fashion or resources in which I can consult.

believe it or not but GQ magazine usually features everytype of style....i usually dress in a kinda dapper manner with blazers, ties, pocket squares and such but i go for preppy type of girls....dressing like that usually gets me all types of girls except hood ghetto ratchet girls lol......honestly it;s not what you wear but how you wear it, if you dress like a slob be a confident slob and i swear girls will still think you have style, just that "idgaf style"

Interesting. I was going to suggest lookbook and sorting by male and most hyped, and there lookbook highlights are cataloged, with a lot of other features. Very nice site.

yea women don't like one specific style, you could dress like a thug, like a cowboy, or preppy and it'll always be those girls who LOVE the way you dress and those who can't stand the way you dress.....just dress how you like and make sure it fits you like a glove

focus more on sex appeal than fashion to be honest.

As far as being able to "put an outfit together" focus on matching accent colors and matching base colors.

Your base color could be black and your accent color blue.

So your outfit might look something like this for example...

Black hat with some type of blue accent. (Find a hat that fits your head and that also fits the occasion that you're going to.

Blue glasses (If you wear glasses)

Some type of black around your neck or on your wrist. (or both)

Blue v-neck t-shirt.

Black button down.

Black Pants.

Blue Belt.

Black shoes with blue laces.

You kind get the idea. (I hope... it's really not that difficult) Play with different colors and styles and see what works best for you.

I try to go for a minimum of three colors. Pants+outer shirt+inner shirt.
