The biggest thing I've learned is that most "techniques" automatically and naturally follows from having the right attitude. The second biggest thing is conversational skills, finding the right balance between being self amused, invoke emotions in the person I talk to and still be serious enough to build rapport and connect. I have no mantra. Game is 24/7. The only thing that may differ from my everyday life when going out is to "get into the zone". But all it takes for me is the right kind of music, two pints of beer, and the right company. The alcohol helps me stop caring about consequences (but I don't really need it anyway, I can do without). |

For me, it was finally realizing that "pick-up" is not all about learning pick up lines or trying to always "gain value". it's about building yourself on the inside and being able to take yourself and be yourself %110 with no regrets, that is what really helps to translate yourself positively to women. |

How to touch girls and when to kiss them, and the fact that you can approach anywhere. I naturally did the cocky & funny stuff, it comes very naturally to me - I had plenty of girls in college calling me an asshole in a playful "I want to have sex with you" way (though did I have sex with ANY of them? No. Dumbass.) But knowledge of attraction, physical escalation, and the fact that you go by what they do and not what they say was alien to me. I completely drank the equality koolaid that there were no gender roles, even in romance. In some ways that helped me - I didn't white knight a lot, I rarely bought girls drinks (though I did take them to dinner when going on dates occasionally), and I always believed in getting affirmative, active consent (i.e., LMR instantly meant we would NEVER have sex that night) before sex and even sometimes before kissing - I would sit in a girl's car for like, a half hour or an hour trying to get the balls to kiss her and not having them. I also was devastated after any break-up, because I didn't understand what I had done wrong. Now, none of that happens. I don't always fuck on the first hang-out (usually second, sometimes third in my experience), but I meet a lot of girls and I know that for the foreseeable future, I will have no problem dating beautiful 20-somethings and late teens, even when I'm about to enter my 30s. One of the reasons I stay around on these forums is because of the fact that this shit changed my life. I went from being a loveless loser pulling scraps from OkCupid and having month-long and even a year long dry spell (which I broke with, I want to say, a 300 lb girl who was over 30), to reasonably assuming I can get a date (and probably laid) any week/day I put actual effort into it, with relatively attractive girls (I commonly see actresses and people on tv who are less attractive than girls I have slept with). |
