So theres this HB. i text her back and forth a bit to set up the first date. she genuinely seems interested, witty banter, a little bit sexual. all good. then i ask her out. she says she's in another city. specifically she says "i agree to the date but not this weekend because i'm in sydney" I want to proceed as though she's telling the truth. i dont see any reason why she would lie with that excuse. So assuming she is down in principle but the time i suggested was wrong how do i proceed? it seems a bit needy to ask when she gets back so i can work my schedule around her. Ignore her for a few more days? suggest another time?change subject completely? Suggestions? Thanks |

Ask her how long she is there for.

"I agree to the date" She's down, dude. Wait it out. Propose another date... "Great - what about next weekend, then?" is fine... or say "When are you back? Would love to hear about your trip". |

You're over thinking it. A simple "very nice, have a good time, hmu when you get back in town" As long as you don't make it seem like you'll be sitting by your phone until she returns you're good. |
