I'm a total newb outsider who hasn't even done the newbie mission and isn't actually serious about pickup, so if you only want to help people who are serious, feel free to skip this thread. If you just want to participate in a meaningless yet potentially entertaining conversation, read on!
I'm at a shorefront city park near downtown Toronto. Coming down the boardwalk with 2 of her friends is this 6'3" blueeyed blonde with smooth, tanned thighs from the ground to the sky - if her cutoffs were any shorter they'd have been a denim thong! I'm 6'4" so I have a thing for tall girls and this was one was off the charts.
I step in front of her while she's still a few steps away and say (looking her in the eyes with a smile on my face but not like a huge beaming smile), "Hello there!"
She looks at me a little startled and says, "Hi!"
While I'm in the process of saying, "It's not every day I meet a young lady I see eye to eye with!" she reaches me and stops in front of me (I was in her line of motion).
She says, "Me neither!"
I say, "You don't meet many ladies you see eye to eye with either?"
She says (not appearing particularly amused but not appearing to be backing off either), "You got it!"
While I'm in the process of saying, "In Texas, when we see a tall girl we almost always ask, 'Basketball or volleyballl?' but in Canada I guess we need to add Hockey to the conversation!" she and her friends are kind of looking at each other, and right about when I got to 'conversation' she started actually walking around me to walk away, and said, "I guess so!" as she was walking away.
Without moving or even turning my shoulders (just my head - I looked like an owl!) I said, "hey, before you go at least tell me which one it is!" and she just yelled back, "Okay!"
and that was it.
Just curious - what would a more experienced PUA have done in the same situation?
